Mobilise Services and Websites comply with the principles of the Data Protection Act and EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Mobilise may collect and receive Customer Data and other information and data (“Other Information”) in a variety of ways:
Registration Data: In order to register and create an account with Mobilise we ask Users to provide us with certain pieces of personal information, which includes; full name, contact number, email address and social media handles, emergency contacts (“Contact Information”), date of birth, address, career history, certification and your right to work documentation.
Technical Information: As is true of many internet-enabled services, Mobilise may collect certain technical information through the use of log files and servers. Web and application servers create log files automatically as part of their setup and configuration. Information in a log file may include IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, date/time stamps, Media Access Control (MAC) address, file requested, and other usage information and statistics.
Usage information: When a User interacts with the Services, metadata is generated that provides additional context about the way Authorised Users work. For example, Mobilise logs the features, content, and links you view or interact with, the types of files that are uploaded and what Third-Party Services are used (if any).
Device information: Mobilise collects information about devices accessing the Services, including type of device, what operating system is used, device settings, application IDs, unique device identifiers and crash data. Whether we collect some or all of this Other Information often depends on the type of device used and its settings.
Location information: Upon registration with Mobilise, you provide us with your postal or zip code. We may also collect location information from devices you use while accessing the Services or Websites. Depending on the device and operating system, device-based location information may be derived from GPS and nearby wireless signals such as signal towers, Wi-Fi networks, and Bluetooth beacons.
Cookie information: Mobilise uses cookies and similar technologies in our Services and Websites to help us collect Other Information. The Services and Websites may also include cookies and similar tracking technologies of third parties, which may collect Other Information about you via the Services and Websites and across other websites and online services. You may elect to decline all cookies via your device. Every device has the ability to decline file downloads including cookies. However, if you do decline the download of cookies you may be limited to certain areas of our Services and Websites, as there are elements that require cookies.
Third Party Providers: Mobilise may use certain trusted third parties (for example timesheet services and training providers) for the business purposes of helping Mobilise provide, improve, protect and promote our Services. These third parties will access the Users information to perform tasks on Mobilise’s behalf, and Mobilise will remain responsible for their handling of the your information per our instructions.
Generally, no one is under a statutory or contractual obligation to provide any Customer Data or Other Information (collectively the “Contact Information”). However, certain Information is collected automatically and if some Information is not provided, we may be unable to provide the Services.
Mobilise may use your Registration Data and Other Information or data we receive or collect for a variety of purposes, such as:
Push Notifications: Mobilise will send the User push notifications in regard but not limited to your account, contract opportunities, Services updates and / or helpful tips on using the Services and Websites. If you no longer wish to receive these types of communications, you may turn them off at the device level in your application settings. To ensure you receive proper notifications, we will need to collect certain information about your device such as operating system and User identification information.
Email Address: Mobilise does not sell or provide your email address to other companies for their own marketing purposes without your permission. However, we do use your email address or other Registration Data to provide you with technical support, send you notices about the Services you have elected to receive, and to serve you with information that is relevant to you including advertising, news and promotional offers.
Contact Information: We do not sell or give your Contact Information to companies for their own marketing purposes without your permission. However, we do use your Contact Information, to contact you, notify you of contract opportunities, provide you with promotional information and update you on new features and functionalities. You may at any time request that we cease using your Contact Information, however, this will effect your ability to use the Services and Websites.
Modification of Your Customer Data: We provide you with the ability to access and modify your Customer Data, which you may do via your account. If you require assistance with the modification and /or updating of your profile, contact Mobilise for assistance.
Retention of Your Data: We will retain and use your Customer Data and the Other Information we collect about the User for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with Mobilise’s Services and Websites. We will retain and use this information for the purposes for which it was collected (as specified in this policy or as Mobilise discloses to its Users outside of this policy), including, to provide the Service to you, comply with our legal obligations and resolve disputes.
Business Tranfers: If Mobilise are involved in a reorganisation, merger, acquisition or sale of our assets, the Users data may be transferred as part of that deal. We will notify you of any such deal and outline your choices in that event.
Deletion or Deactivation of Your Account: If you would like to request the cancellation or deactivation of your account, you should contact our User Support team for assistance. Cancellation or deactivation of your account does not ensure complete or comprehensive removal of the content or information you may have posted or otherwise made available publicly on the Service while you were a registered user. You should also contact our User Support team to request the deactivation of a profile you believe is fake or otherwise unauthorized.
Profile Visibility: Upon registration to the Mobilise Services and Websites, your profile will be available to view by customers seeking the assistance of contract workforce relevant to the expertise, experience and certification highlighted in your account.
Protection of Data: Mobilise takes security of data very seriously. Mobilise works hard to protect Other Information you provide from loss, misuse and unauthorised access or disclosure. These steps take into account the sensitivity of the Other Information we collect, process and store and the current state of technology. Given the nature of communications and information processing technology, Mobilise cannot guarantee that Information during transmission through the Internet or while stored on our Systems, Websites or otherwise in our care will be absolutely safe from intrusion by others.
Data Integrity: Mobilise use the Customer Data and Other Information we collect in ways that are relevant and compatible with the purpose for which that information was collected or provided to us as disclosed in this policy. We will take steps to ensure that all information collected, processed, and / or stored is protected from destruction, corruption, or use in a manner inconsistent with our policies or the purpose for which we received it.
Our Services and Websites are not designed for and are not marketed to people under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect or ask for personal information from anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly allow said individuals to use our Services or Websites. If you are under the age of 18, please do not use our Services and / or Websites or send us your personal information. We delete personal information that we learn is collected from a someone under the age of 18.
Mobilise may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. Laws, regulations and industry standards evolve, which may make those changes necessary, or we may make changes to our Services, Websites or business. We will post the changes and encourage you to review our Privacy Policy to stay informed. If we make changes that materially alter your privacy rights, Mobilise will provide additional notice, such as via email or through the Services and / or Websites. If you disagree with the changes to this Privacy Policy, you should deactivate your Services account.
If the Mobilise software is utlised from outside of the United Kingdom the information you submit to us may be transferred to the UK and other countries to be processed by us or our service providers in order to provide the Service to you or for such other purposes as set forth in this policy. If you are not a resident of the UK, you hereby consent and agree that we may collect, process, use, and store your information, as discussed in this policy, outside your resident jurisdiction, including in the UK. Please be aware that UK law and the laws of other countries where we may store and process your information may offer different levels of protection for information than may be available in your country.
Individuals located in certain countries, including the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, have certain statutory rights in relation to their personal data. Subject to any exemptions provided by law, you may have the right to request access to Information, as well as to seek to update, delete or correct this Information. To the extent that Mobilise’s processing of your Personal Data is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation, Mobilise relies on its legitimate interests, described above, to process your data. Mobilise may also process Other Information that constitutes your Personal Data for direct marketing purposes, and you have a right to object to Mobilise’s use of your Personal Data for this purpose at any time.
